Energy:

The growing international demand for energy means it is important to come up with new solutions in this field, prioritizing those that use clean and inexhaustible sources. Abengoa creates facilities that convert energy from renewable sources into electricity and biofuels; constructs transmission lines that support electricity networks, and designs and installs information systems that control critical infraestructures in an intelligent and safe way.

Environment:

The growth of the population, improved living conditions in developing countries and climate change are putting pressure on resources. We produce drinking water from sea water and waste water; we recycle aluminium and zinc, preventing their primary extraction; we manage industrial waste in order to recover materials and to minimize their environmental impact; and we supply information services and technology for agriculture, water infrastructures and meteorological forecasting.

Abengoa carries out its engineering, infrastructure concessions and industrial production activities in both sectors.
